Together with the researchers Gitte Juel Holst and Torben Sigsgaard from Aarhus University, HouseTest investigated the connection between the occurrence of dampness and moulds in dwellings where the inhabitants are suffering from asthma and respiratory disorders.
The data showed a more frequent prevalence of asthma and wheeze in buildings with a water damage, and so support the notion that dampness and moulds in buildings should be avoided.
